Community Schools offer extensive opportunities that support healthy child, youth development, and family stability.
At Hillview, the collective efforts of youth, parents, businesses, and community organizations create a network of supports that ensure the academic success of its students.
Along with its quality instruction, Hillview Junior high has:
- After school programs
- Linkages to food, shelter and basic needs through our Parent Liaison
- Monthly food pantry
- Connection to on-site health and mental health services for students and their families
- Adult education and recreation such as ESL classes, positive parenting classes, and health education
- Activities and events for families
