Hello!  My name is Ms. Viechec (the students call me Ms. V) and this is my 17th year teaching in P.U.S.D.  I currently teach Warrior Success (a 6th grade semester elective) and Computer Science (both Beginning and Advanced Coding).

 

I am also the lead MESA (Math Engineering Science Achievement) Club Advisor for Hillview Jr. High.  We meet Thursdays at lunch in room 405 and sometimes after school on Thursdays.  We take a yearly field trip to Cal State East Bay in Hayward for MESA Day in March. More info...

 

I graduated from UC Irvine with a B.A. in Sociology and minor in Education and received my Master's Degree in Teaching from Chapman University.  I was PUSD's Teacher of the Year in 2012-2013 and Educator of the Year for Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce in 2013.  Looking forward to welcoming our Warriors, new and old, back on campus for a brand new school year!
